Emelyn Gwynn, Main Street Coordinator
Meet Our Main Street Coordinator
Emelyn Gwynn joined the Altavista On Track staff in June 2015, after graduating from Lynchburg College, where she received a B.A. in Communication and a minor in visual arts.
Before joining AOT, Emelyn completed an internship with Lynchburg Office of Economic Development and was an intern for the City Council campaign and House of Delegates campaign.
Emelyn is a board member of the Altavista YMCA and Riverviews Artspace. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, photography, farmers markets, and shopping local!

Media and Marketing for DJ Media. Lori holds a Bachelor of Science from Radford University in Communication. Lori is a native of Altavista highly driven to improving her community through her creative marketing plans and outgoing personality
Ed is new to Altavista, but he is the Reverend at the Altavista Presbyterian Church, located in downtown Altavista. Ed serves as the chair for the Design Committee.
Ashley is new to Altavista, but has been in the Lynchburg area for the past several years, first as a student at Liberty University. She is now the Marketing Director for Liberty University.
Emily is also new to Altavista, but is deeply involved in the community, as she is the Public Service Librarian serving Campbell County libraries. Emily helps plan all of the community events for the library.
Megan has been active with AOT for the past 6 years and is now a board member and the chair of the promotions committee. Megan is also a small business owner to Vital Edge, a health foods and wellness shop downtown.
Jonathan is a long time resident of the Altavista area and owns his own video production business on Main Street. Jonathan is new to the board, but has already headed up the Marketing Committee.
Paul Smith joined the board last year, but is already extremely active. Paul also owns Staunton River Outdoors, an outdoors sporting goods shop downtown.
Eleanor works at Altavista's local radio station, KD Country. She has long been a volunteer for AOT events and is now on the promotions committee to help with event organization.
Charlie has been active on the board for the past several years and has even served as the board president. Charlie's specialties include design and engineering.
